Speaking of Scarves…

I bought this bad boy at Woolworths yesterday.  Can you ever have too many leopard print scarves? Is it weird to call a scarf ‘bad boy’?  The answer, dear ameezings, is no.

Roll Up, Roll Up…

So it’s Friday and you’re wondering what to do this weekend.  Whilst all the fancy Joburg blogs will tell you about shows, art exhibition openings and loft parties, here at the offices of Ameezing, we only have one thing to say: Woolworths has a new product, on the box it says, ‘Vanilla Flavoured White Chocolate Covered Almonds Dusted in Icing Sugar’.  Has there ever been a more devilishly tantalising sentence?  And holy panda’s toenails, are they delicious.  We, at the offices of Ameezing, will be loading our recycled shoppers with these little boxes, heading home and watching Zombieland for the bazillionth time.  Happy munching, happy weekend.

20 Miles southwest of Bloomington

I tried all kinds of ways to talk about my new favourite thing.  But it all sounded like an episode of Oprah, a bad haiku or an even worse infomercial.  So here’s the deal.  It’s popcorn, from Popcorn, Indiana (that’s 20 miles southwest of Bloomington the packet tells me).  It promises to be ‘crispy and crunchy and sweet and salty’ and boy does it deliver.  Popcorn from Popcorn all the way to lil ol’ Woolies.  Ameezing.

Nigella Shminella

Seeing as the most I can cook is tea, I probably will never be posting any photos of beautifully prepared meals that I have magiced up in some Nigella Lawson-esque whirl.  But I was super thrilled to discover Zoo animal pasta at Woolworths.  Zoo animals+pasta=ameezing.
